Anthropic places METR evaluation team on-site with employee-level access

Anthropic has colocated the METR evaluation within the company, providing devices and offices for access to internal systems. Public disclosure of evaluation results is not allowed, with only redaction requests possible. OpenAI is preparing to accept external evaluation bodies under similar terms.
